Cross & Roses

The cross in the Bible represents the sacrifice and love of Jesus Christ. Roses, on the other hand, have been associated with love and beauty. After the life of the rose has passed it can only then be crushed, creating the base note or firm foundation of a fragrance. This is possibly the relationship between these two symbols, as Christ's sacrificial love is compared to the fragrant beauty of the rose. The cross and roses serve as a reminder of God's abundant love for humanity.
